Rega Planar 3

I keep getting a hum from my Planar 3. Don’t understand why Rega doesn’t put a ground on this table. Going to do a modification this weekend by adding a ground wire from the motor to the arm then out to my phono preamp. Think it should cure the hum. It’s weird because the preamp has a ground lug and it’s also from Rega. Listening to Bella Donna from Stevie Nicks on it while I write this. I have the Vyinal Me Now reissue on 180g blue vyinal. It’s a really good pressing, very quiet with no pops and clicks. To bad VMP had cashflow issues. For a time they had a great product. Anyway it’s a great album, they don’t make music like this anymore.
